Fairmont Tremblant Kitchen Renovation
Preserving Culinary Excellence During Kitchen Renovation
Customer Need
Located in the celebrated mountain resort destination of Mont-Tremblant, Fairmont Tremblant was preparing to upgrade its primary kitchen facilities, including the replacement of the kitchen flooring. Although the renovation was scheduled to last approximately one month, the work required the hotel’s food production operations to be temporarily relocated.
Closing or significantly reducing food service was not a practical option. The hotel needed to continue serving guests while preserving the quality and consistency associated with its dining program, including Choux Gras Brasserie Culinaire, its renowned signature restaurant. Fairmont Tremblant therefore required a temporary kitchen capable of supporting high-volume hotel operations while meeting the standards expected within a luxury hospitality environment. Fairmont highlights award-winning dining as one of the resort’s defining experiences. Fairmont Tremblant
Our Solution
Mobile Kitchens Canada supplied a modern, fully equipped 28' mobile kitchen trailer to serve as the hotel’s temporary food production facility throughout the renovation.
The unit provided the commercial cooking, food preparation, refrigeration, and cold-storage capabilities needed to support daily hotel dining operations. Its configuration gave Fairmont Tremblant’s chefs and culinary staff a functional production environment from which they could continue preparing the quality of food expected by hotel guests and restaurant patrons.
The mobile kitchen was delivered and installed adjacent to the hotel, then connected to the necessary utilities and commissioned for operation. Mobile Kitchens Canada also provided staff orientation and ongoing technical support, helping the culinary team transition efficiently into the temporary space and remain focused on service.
The Result
The temporary mobile kitchen allowed Fairmont Tremblant to complete its planned kitchen improvements without suspending food production or compromising the guest dining experience.
Throughout the one-month project, the hotel’s culinary team maintained the cooking, preparation, refrigeration, and support functions necessary for continued service. The solution gave Fairmont Tremblant the flexibility to improve an essential back-of-house facility while preserving the quality, consistency, and hospitality standards expected at one of Quebec’s premier mountain resorts.
